LOUISBOURG-MEMBERTOU HERITAGE PARK-SYDNEY
On July 6th Mirari and Amets were going to their home at the Historic Site of the Fortress of Louisbourg, the house of the Basque fishermen, when they heard an “egun on!” right away they turned around, but they did not see anything. They continued their path and heard something so similar to an “egun on!” that it could not have been anything else. Once again they turned around, and indeed there was a Basque couple, from Bilbao. It was very nice for them to have visitors coming from home.
AMETS' BIRTHDAY
On July 7th we celebrated Amets’ birthday, a couple days earlier than her actual birthday, in order to make the most out of the weekend.
At Christiane and Eddie's house. Mirari, Harry, Eddie, Amets and Marta.

KNOWING THE PLACES AROUND
On the following days they learnt about Louisbourg’s history, related to the Fortress, and talked about how they were giving life to their characters. Moreover, at the Fortress they visited the archaeology department, the costume department and the Mi’kmaw interpretation centre. Just before putting an end to their workday, they visited Lewis Parker’s paintings.

We visited the Membertou Heritage Park again, so we could see it again on our own.
THE GIANT FIDDLE IN SYDNEY
On July 14th, I visited briefly the giant fiddle, an important touristic point in Sydney’s harbor.
